Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC in Milpitas, CA is hiring an OT/IT Support Engineer. This hands-on role blends shop-floor OT infrastructure with end-user desktop support, serving as the on-site tech contact to keep engineers and operators productive.

You will install and maintain network gear, manage assets, support AV systems, and collaborate with IT and manufacturing teams to securely integrate OT networks with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in hands-on technical support or site infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of network switches, cabling, and patch panels.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain OT/IT shop-floor infrastructure and on-site workstations.
• Install and configure network gear in coordination with IT Security.
• Provide deskside support for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Maintain asset tracking and lifecycle of IT/OT hardware.
• Support AV and conference room equipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and control systems teams to integrate OT networks.
