Job summary

Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) is seeking an Onsite Clinical Responder to support referral management from initial contact through authorization. The role involves on-site chart reviews, EMR access, and collaboration with hospital teams to ensure timely case progression while upholding regulatory standards.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires travel within the designated service area, on-call coordination with leadership, and adherence to TOSA policies.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in medical/critical care.
• EMR proficiency with at least one major system preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under high-stress conditions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Triages organ, tissue, and eye referrals while delivering quality customer service.
• Performs on-site referral evaluation and coordinates with hospital staff.
• Maintains EMR access and documents all donor-related activities.
• Communicates clinical updates to stakeholders and supports case progression through authorization.
