Job summary

Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) is seeking an Organ Recovery Coordinator I to evaluate donor referrals, maximize medical management, and coordinate all aspects of organ recovery. This exempt, full-time role includes 24-hour on-call responsibilities on a rotating schedule and potential inter-regional travel.

You'll work with hospital staff, transplant centers, and TOSA's Medical Director to ensure compliant, timely donor care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• 1 year of professional and/or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork in high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential donor referrals and medical suitability.
• Coordinate organ donation and recovery with hospital staff and transplant centers.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality in donor records.
• Travel as required to donor hospitals and centers.
