Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to contribute to a technology financial project focused on new application development in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle database objects and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

The candidate will perform root-cause analysis, support deployments, and ensure security and data governance compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Database 19c or later.
• Advanced PL/SQL development skills.
• Proficiency in SQL performance tuning.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
• Familiarity with Git or Bitbucket version control.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, and indexes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.
• Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
• Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers.
• Document solutions and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
