Job summary

Cogent Analytics seeks a Business Operations Consultant/Project Director to work directly with owner-led businesses, improving operational performance, financial controls, and profitability. This on-site role requires a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style and 100% domestic travel, partnering with owners to implement scalable, sustainable changes.

Responsibilities include driving financial performance, guiding organizational change, coaching ownership and staff, and managing the full lifecycle

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of consulting experience with a proven track record delivering value for clients.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel onsite with clients (100% travel requirement).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Suite, dashboards, CRM’s, and PM software).
• Proven fiduciary responsibility, budgeting 10M+.
• Prior business ownership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quantifiable and sustainable value reflected in income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and quality of life.
• Oversee identification and communication of work to be completed for the client; maintain clear communication with leadership.
• Lead client relationships from engagement through measurable outcomes and drive financial performance and organizational change.
• Coach ownership and employees and manage the full lifecycle of engagements.
