Job summary

Watco Transloading is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Dravosburg, PA, to support facility leadership, safety oversight, and environmental compliance while driving operational execution and resource planning.

The role requires hands-on leadership in daily terminal activities, with responsibilities spanning performance monitoring, staffing, and ensuring service excellence for customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of operational leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
• Promote Watco Foundation and Customer First Principles across all levels.
• Guide daily operations in the field and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Enforce compliance with Watco safety rules and procedures.
• Assist in managing terminal operations to optimize resources, schedules, and staffing.
• Lead safety meetings, audits, and observations; empower team to stop unsafe actions.
• Monitor maintenance needs and coordinate repairs and preventive planning.
• Support review of operational KPIs and implement process improvements.
• Assist with P&L management including budget support and cost control.
• Review billing for contractual compliance and revenue capture.
• Participate in capital planning and cost-saving initiatives.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and ensure service excellence.
• Maintain documentation, training logs, and compliance reporting.
• Ensure onboarding and ongoing development of team members; address performance issues.
