Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks an Infusion Pharmacist III to oversee preparation, compounding, order verification and dispensing of pharmaceuticals in oncology and sterile compounding settings.

The role emphasizes optimizing drug therapy, identifying and preventing drug-related problems, and collaborating with providers, nurses, and pharmacists across the Attleboro, Foxborough, and Milford locations. The position is 100% onsite and per diem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• At least 5 years of hospital pharmacy, ambulatory care, sterile compounding experience with 4 years oncology experience; PGY2 oncology residency or relevant PGY2 specialty acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Oversee designated daily operations and clinical activities in assigned area.
• Appropriately dispense pharmaceuticals including sterile products, chemotherapy, biologics, and controlled substances.
• Evaluate medication orders for completeness and appropriateness; consult with providers/nurses as needed.
• Perform quality control on orders and prepared medications; monitor storage, logs, and inventories.
• Review investigational protocols against orders prior to dispensing.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and students as assigned.
• Participate in training and orientation of new staff.
• Contribute to training, education, and multidisciplinary activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
