Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field is a plus.
• Board of Certified Safety Professional STS(C) and/or CHST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge, skills, and abilities with safety teams.
• Assist in safety strategies and implement corporate initiatives.
• Provide safety support for line management and personnel.
• Implement safety policies and initiatives to achieve business goals.
• Deliver safety training as required.
• Communicate safety strategies within area.
• Conduct routine safety inspections (formal and informal).
• Monitor safety performance, data, and trends.
• Audit processes for efficiency and consistency.
• Foster a culture that incidents can be prevented.
• Lead by example with strong ethics.
