Job summary

Predicine is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for an on-site role in Hayward, CA. This CLIA/CAP-certified laboratory position covers end-to-end NGS workflows, from sample processing to result reporting, with adherence to SOPs.

Ideal candidates hold a California CLS license, have 2–3 years in a clinical reference lab, and possess strong computer skills (Word, Excel). The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a clinical reference laboratory.
• Experience with computers, including Word, Excel, and email.
• Current California CLS generalist or CGMBS license; CEU requirements fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complex molecular genetic testing including DNA/RNA extraction, library prep, and NGS.
• Demonstrate proficiency in core clinical lab procedures with minimal supervision.
• Train as needed and assist in evaluating new test procedures.
• Report test results and maintain accurate records per Quality Management System.
