Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Network Infrastructure Technician to install, configure, and maintain network switches, routers, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems across multiple facilities. You will work with IT, Facilities, and Operations to ensure a reliable, secure infrastructure in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in network infrastructure, cabling, or low‑voltage systems.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, switching).
Hands‑on experience with structured cabling, including terminations and cable testing.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Perform network troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance optimization across multiple buildings and production environments.
Manage VLANs, port configurations, link aggregation, and other Layer 2/3 functions.
Assist with network documentation, topology mapping, and asset tracking.
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, and monitoring stations.
Support and troubleshoot access control systems, including badge readers, door controllers, and related hardware.
