Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Network Infrastructure Technician to support and expand the technology backbone of our manufacturing and office operations. This hands-on role focuses on networking, structured cabling, security systems, and facility-level tech infrastructure in a fast-growing environment.

You will install and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, wireless APs, CCTV systems, access control hardware, and fire alarm support, collaborating with IT, Facilities,

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in network infrastructure, cabling, or low‑voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and switching.
• Hands‑on experience with structured cabling, terminations, and cable testing.
• Experience with CCTV systems (IP cameras, NVRs) and access control hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot networks and optimize performance across multiple buildings and production environments.
• Manage VLANs, port configurations, and Layer 2/3 functions.
• Assist with network documentation, topology mapping, and asset tracking.
