Job summary

Totally Joined For Achieving Collaborative Techniques (TJFACT) seeks a Network Engineer to support the DoS DT IT team in Baghdad and Erbil, Iraq. You will ensure enterprise network availability and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure while coordinating with local and international staff on mission-critical systems.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Network Engineering or 13 years of related experience, Cisco and Palo Alto device expertise, CCNA/CCNP, Security+ and active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering or 13 years equivalent experience.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP and Security+ certifications required.
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto devices and SolarWinds tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure the DOS DT IT network infrastructure.
• Design, install, test, and document LAN/WAN hardware (Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto).
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot core devices, and ensure availability.
• Document network layouts, SOPs, and support staff contacts.
• Liaise with ISPs and government IT staff; support HoS circuits.
• Provide on-the-job training to locally employed staff.
