Job summary

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routing (BGP/OSPF), switching, wireless networking, and network security, plus applicable CCNA/ENCS certifications. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong routing, switching, and wireless networking skills.
• Experience with network security, VPNs, and firewall rules.
• Preferred Cisco/Extreme certifications (CCNA/CCNP, ENCS/ENCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and manage network hardware including routers, switches, and wireless APs.
• Configure and maintain Extreme Networks (ExtremeXOS) hardware and software.
• Monitor traffic, apply patches, manage VPNs, and maintain firewall rules.
• Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation for outages, latency, and connectivity issues.
• Evaluate bandwidth needs and plan architectural changes for growth.
• Maintain up-to-date network topologies, DR playbooks, and SOPs.
