Job summary

Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services (MS-ITS) is seeking an intermediate-level Microsoft .NET Developer for the ITS Development Team Staff Augmentation project in Jackson, MS. The engagement is fully onsite with standard 40-hour weeks, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The role requires participation across the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to maintenance, with strong English communication and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in VB.NET or C#, Visual Studio 2010+.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, XML.
• Strong SQL: complex queries, functions, stored procedures.
• Experience with web services using WCF and Microsoft platform.
• Full SDLC experience and on-site availability in Jackson, MS.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all levels of the development lifecycle.
• Write complex SQL queries and data interfaces.
• Develop web-based applications on Microsoft platform.
• Create and maintain web services using WCF.
• Use Azure DevOps or Git for source control.
• Mentor teammates and document procedures.
