Job summary

Percent is seeking an intermediate-level Microsoft .NET Developer to support its ITS Development Team in Jackson, Mississippi. The role covers the full software development life cycle from requirements to maintenance, with a strong emphasis on ASP.NET Web Forms, VB.NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL Server.

The position is a 100% onsite contract based in Jackson, MS, with standard hours and fingerprint screening.

Qualifications

• ASP.NET Web Forms required (MVC not accepted).
• VB.NET or C# required.
• Visual Studio 2010 or later required.
• JavaScript, HTML, and CSS required.
• AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap required.
• JSON beginner level.
• XML intermediate level.
• SQL Server 2016+ required.
• Complex SQL experience
• Windows OS intermediate level.
• Console and batch apps for data interfaces (beginner).
• WCF services experience (beginner).
• Microsoft web app development experience (advanced).
• Full SDLC experience (advanced).
• Azure DevOps / Git beginner level.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and technical design.
• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain web-based applications on the Microsoft platform.
• Support testing and QA, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Create and manage work plans, track project activities, and manage priorities.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other employees as needed.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally in a public-facing environment.
