Job summary

InstantServe LLC is seeking an intermediate-level Microsoft .NET Developer to support its IT development team in Jackson, MS. You will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, training, and ongoing maintenance.

The role emphasizes hands-on development with ASP.NET Web Forms, VB.NET or C#, and SQL Server. You will work in a public-facing environment and mentor teammates while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms.
• MVC experience will not be accepted as a substitute.
• Advanced proficiency in VB.NET or C# and Visual Studio 2010 or later.
• Experience with AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Working knowledge of JSON and XML.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016 or later.
• Knowledge of console and batch applications for data interfaces.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle from requirements to maintenance.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git source control management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a public-facing environment, and mentor team members.
