Job summary

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist to support Navy personnel at the Portsmouth, VA site. The role involves verifying education, licensure, and credentials, maintaining sensitive records, and ensuring compliance with privacy and government security requirements.

On-site daily at the client site with federal government oversight. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a healthcare setting, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with credentialing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with credentialing verification, review, maintenance, and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Verify and review professional education, licensure, and background information for prospective and current clinical staff and healthcare providers.
• Obtain and review credentialing documentation to confirm qualifications.
• Track licenses, certifications, registrations, and required training for providers.
• Respond to inquiries from healthcare institutions regarding credentials.
• Maintain credentialing data in government systems and databases.
• Perform credentialing admin tasks (scanning, printing, copying, filing, records processing).
• Handle credentialing records securely respecting privacy and security requirements.
• Follow Navy credentialing policies, instructions, and SOPs.
• Maintain productivity and quality in credentialing support.
