Job summary

DHI Communities, a division of D.R. Horton, is seeking a Multifamily-Assistant Superintendent to support delivery of multifamily communities on schedule and with quality.

You will assist in managing activities, coordinate with management, field teams, and subcontractors, and help ensure safety and environmental compliance on site. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of construction experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Regular exposure to outside weather conditions and jobsite risks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of project activities to meet schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
• Communicate project needs to management, field team, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project safety and enforce safety policies.
• Prepare for and participate in subcontractor meetings.
• Monitor site conditions and environmental compliance.
• Plan and track project activity for assigned areas.
• Interact with local building officials regarding inspections and sign-off.
• Inspect project site daily to ensure progress and cleanliness.
• Create and distribute punch lists and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a neat and organized construction trailer.
• Participate in daily logs, safety inspections, RFIs, and change orders.
