Job summary

Ventek Solutions LLC in Findlay, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR analytics for a multi-state workforce. You will partner with the Payroll Manager to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

The role requires multi-state payroll experience, strong Excel/data-analysis skills, and familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (Paycor strongly preferred). Onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of payroll, benefits, or HR analytics experience.
• Multi-state payroll experience required.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paycor strongly preferred).
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work extended hours as needed during payroll cycles and open enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Payroll: weekly payroll for hourly employees and semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees.
• Benefits Administration: administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans; open enrollment and changes.
• HR Analytics & Reporting: generate and analyze payroll and benefits data; build reports and dashboards; support budgeting and forecasting; ensure data accuracy across HRIS.
