Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Database Administrator for an onsite, 6-month contract in Salt Lake City, UT. You will support a globally distributed database infrastructure, including production support, performance tuning, and cross-functional coordination with application and IT teams.

The role requires 5+ years of DBA experience, strong Linux and database platform knowledge, and experience with Autosys/cron for scheduling tasks. Onsite work is required with no visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of DBA experience.
• Experience with Linux and multiple DB platforms.
• Knowledge of Autosys and cron-based scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide Database Administration Support.
• Production support for Sybase ASE/IQ, UDB DB2, Replication, Postgres, Hadoop, MSSQL, MongoDB, Oracle globally.
• Optimize server infrastructure; schedule maintenance jobs; perform root cause analyses.
