Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in database administration
• 5 years experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux v5/6/7/8
• Experience with Sybase ASE, IQ, and Replication
• Strong knowledge of UDB/DB2 including HADR and design
• Banking domain knowledge or understanding of banking processes (preferred)
• Interpersonal skills to interact with global teams
• Knowledge of job schedulers like Autosys and cron jobs

Responsibilities

• Perform Database Administration Support.
• Provide production support for Sybase ASE/IQ, UDB DB2, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, MSSQL, Hadoop across environments.
• Schedule maintenance jobs and perform RCAs; provide remediation.
• Coordinate with application and IT support teams for critical requests.
• Perform daily monitoring of database infrastructure and alerts.
• Handle provisioning, user requests, and BC testing across regions.
• Adhere to change management and create policies for operations.
• Manage small database-related projects including migrations and end-of-life plans.
