Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images.
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
• Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to produce the transparency, and develop film in an automatic processor.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS with correct markers.
• Report equipment issues and ensure proper functioning of the department and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly department including rooms, storage, dressing rooms and film areas.
