Accrescent Group seeks an MRI Technician to prepare and position patients, perform MRI examinations, and produce high-quality diagnostic images at our Warwick, RI site.

The role requires 2 years of MRI experience and BLS certification. You will monitor patient data, manage image transfer to PACS, and uphold safety and equipment standards in a busy imaging dept.

Qualificações

• 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician.
• BLS certification required.
• US Citizen or Green Card required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and position patients and select imaging parameters to produce diagnostic cross‑sectional images.
• Perform patient pre‑screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
• Monitor patient data; transfer images to PACS and ensure proper labeling and history.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain high image quality and timely submission of images and documents.
• Ensure MRI equipment operates correctly and report malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, orderly department and storage areas.

We're seeking an MRI Technicianfor one of our Healthcare Client to prepare and position patients, perform MRI examinations, produce high-quality diagnostic images, monitor patient information, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean and safe imaging environment.

Job Description:

MRI Technician with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification,

Work Location: 455 Tollgate Road, Warwick, RI, 02886.

SUMMARY

Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Shift timings: 07:00 to 19:00 Monday to friday. Per Week: 36 Hours

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
• Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develop film in an automatic processor.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction toappropriate personnel.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in the department.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: 2 Years.
• Skills, MRI Technician, Traveler MRI Tech.
