MillenniumSoft Inc. in Warwick, RI is seeking an MRI Technician to prepare and position patients, acquire cross-sectional MRI images, and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. Schedule is 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with a 36-hour workweek.

The role requires PACS experience, equipment monitoring, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols. You will handle patient data, image transfer, and contribute to a clean, well-organized department.

Qualificações

• 2 years of relevant MRI experience.
• PACS documentation and image quality management.
• Equipment monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and position patients; select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
• Enter and monitor patient data; transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce transparencies; develop film in an automatic processor.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, patient data/history).
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning; report potential problems or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage areas, and other department spaces.
