Job summary
Penta Research seeks a full-time Model-Based Flight Software Developer to work onsite in Huntsville, AL. You will design and implement flight software using MATLAB/Simulink, and lead automated code generation with Embedded Coder.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong MATLAB/Simulink skills; preference for a Master’s degree and RTOS/C++ experience. The role requires an active Secret clearance and on-site collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Proficient with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Knowledge of GitLab, configuration management and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Model-Based Flight Software Development: collaborate with the team to create robust flight software using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Automate Code Generation & Optimization: drive Simulink development and automate code generation via Embedded Coder.
- Rigorous Code Review & Presentation: conduct reviews and present findings and recommendations to the team.
