Job summary

CLOVEHITCH, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Mixteco to support communication between minors and Care Staff at various client sites across the United States. The role requires providing confidential, culturally appropriate interpretation. Candidates must possess strong fluency in both English and Mixteco, and prior experience in foster care or medical care situations is preferred.

This temporary, full-time position may involve shift work and requires 100% travel if not residing near a current site.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and Mixteco.
• Experience in foster care or medical environments is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation at client service sites.
• Relay important communication from Care Staff to minors.
• Assist minors with communication in their preferred language.
• Provide interpretation for community resource orientation.
• Support staff in understanding cultural contexts.
