Job summary

TRISTAR INC is seeking a motivated Task Manager to lead mission-critical projects in support of NSWC Crane. This onsite role requires planning, execution and oversight of complex technical tasks within a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with formal customer reporting, governance structures, and holds a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and PMP/Agile Scrum Master certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with formal customer reporting and structured governance environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans defining scope, deliverables, schedules, milestones, resources, dependencies and critical paths.
• Coordinate project execution across Software Engineering, Cyber Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Contracts, Finance, and IT teams.
• Manage project cost and schedule performance using baseline management, forecasting, variance analysis and corrective action planning.
• Support and oversee Financial Management activities ensuring reporting aligns with contractual obligations and governance requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies including technical uncertainty, supplier performance, compliance obligations, export controls, information security and mission impact.
• Develop, maintain and elevate mitigation and contingency plans to support successful project execution.
• Serve as primary interface for internal and external stakeholders regarding project execution, communications and coordination.
• Support customer reviews, milestone reviews, readiness reviews, status reporting and decision-making forums with clear, secure communications.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, defense acquisition expectations, policies and applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Support documentation, change control, audit readiness, configuration awareness, and quality management throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive team accountability and delivery discipline by facilitating meetings and resolving cross-functional constraints.
