Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Deployed Support Specialist to support Navy missions with 100% onsite presence in Washington, DC or Norfolk, VA. Qualifications

4+ years of experience providing deployed technical support or field network operations.
Experience with Cisco routing and switching, including Layer 2/3 technologies.
Knowledge of TCP/UDP networking fundamentals.
Must possess: CompTIA Security+ CE (IAT Level II), OEM network support certifications such as Cisco CCNA (preferred).
Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Provide network planning and deployment support during deployments/exercises.
Troubleshoot live deployments quickly and coordinate solutions.
Support routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD and Exchange.
Configure and maintain deployed USMC units and systems.
Assist IA training for deploying units.
Coordinate hardware/software for missions and travel readiness.
