Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking a Metrology Tech in Raritan, NJ to support cGMP clinical and commercial cell therapy manufacturing. You will calibrate instruments, manage metrology data, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliant production.

The role requires a BSc/MSc in a biological field or related certification, plus at least 4 years in a cGMP cleanroom, with hands-on experience in calibration, instrumentation, and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biological/Biochemical Science/Bioengineering related field.
• Trade/Technical School Certification or Certification in Craft required.
• Minimally 4+ years of cGMP cleanroom manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise in calibration and instrumentation.
• Plans, coordinates, and performs daily calibration activities.
• Ensures materials, tools, standards, and spare parts are available.
• Reviews work orders and manages third-party vendors per SOPs.
• Supports calibration during shutdowns and CAPA processes.
• Develops calibration data sheets and metrology plans.
• Participates in safety programs and audits.
• Leads with strong communication across cross-functional teams.
