Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in AS9100 and NADCAP environments.
• Metals processing experience with Nickel, Titanium, or Cobalt materials.
• Knowledge of thermal processing and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, standards, and procedures.
• Review customer requirements and specifications to determine capabilities.
• Provide technical and metallurgical support to customers and internal teams.
• Support production by troubleshooting process issues and ensuring material meets requirements.
• Investigate nonconforming material, customer complaints, and root causes, implementing corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
• Work with Production and Maintenance to improve equipment utilization and material routing.
• Monitor and maintain pyrometry standards for production furnaces.
• Support capital projects and new product development initiatives.
• Develop and manage trial processes for new customer products.
• Perform metallographic analysis and statistical process monitoring as needed.
• Provide technical support to raw material and outside processing suppliers.
