HealthMark Group is seeking an entry-level Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist at 1 Medical Park Dr, Benton, AR. You will handle ROI requests, ensure 100% accuracy, and maintain a quick turnaround time to support confidential patient information workflows.

This role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, security, and excellent customer service as you interact with clients, patients, and requestors. Training will cover ROI policies and privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete all incoming ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain 100% ROI accuracy.
• Complete all STATs within an hour and maintain a 24-hour turnaround time for all other ROI requests.
• Keep all queues current.
• Validate requests and authorize for release of PHI according to procedures.
• Perform quality checks on all work to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and invoicing.
• Maintain confidentiality, security, and standards of ethics with PHI during transport, storage, and disposal.
• Complete legal affidavits and questions as needed.
• Regularly scan ROI requests into chart.
• Abide by ROI policies of HealthMark and the client.
• Maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance and observe client dress code.
• Keep a clean and orderly work area; store records properly and ensure supplies.
• Update facility guide as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service; be attentive and respectful.
• Identify and de-escalate PT complaints; communicate effectively with customers.
• Assist clients, patients, and requestors with ROI status by phone.
