HealthMark Group in Wilson, NC is seeking an entry-level Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist to join our team. You will handle ROI requests, maintain 100% ROI accuracy, and complete STATs within an hour while ensuring a 24-hour turnaround for other requests.

This role emphasizes confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and customer service as you assist clients and patients with medical records requests, while ensuring proper invoicing and secure handling of PHI.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with no required prior experience.
• Must maintain 100% ROI accuracy.
• Must complete STATs within one hour and others within 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Complete all incoming ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain 100% ROI Accuracy.
• Complete all STATs within an hour and maintain a 24-hour turnaround time for all other ROI requests.
• Keep all queues current.
• Validate requests and authorize for release of PHI according to procedures.
• Perform quality checks on all work for accuracy, confidentiality, and invoicing.
• Maintain confidentiality, security, and ethics with PHI during transport, storage, and disposal.
• Complete legal affidavits and questions as needed.
• Regularly scan ROI requests into chart.
• Abide by ROI policy for HealthMark and clients.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance and observe dress code.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area with proper record storage.
