LanguageLine Solutions - Onsite Division seeks Medical Interpreters in Houston, TX and surrounding areas to provide in-person consecutive interpretation in healthcare settings. This independent contractor role emphasizes clear communication between patients and providers.

Candidates should be fluent in English and at least one other language, with strong medical terminology knowledge and excellent listening skills. Experience is preferred, and confidentiality is essential in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and at least one target language at a professional level.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proven medical interpreting experience (preferred).
• Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to remain impartial, professional, and composed in sensitive situations.
• Educational background in languages or interpretation is a plus.
