• Hospital insurance billing and collections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and discuss patient insurance benefits and treatment cost estimates.
• Complete financial counseling for all patients and advise on financial responsibility.
• Collect payments and initiate financial assistance applications as needed.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to secure prior authorizations and communicate final approvals.
• Identify alternative payment sources and arrange payment schedules when appropriate.
• Assist returning patients with account resolution and bad debt management.

Education
