Prescott's, Inc. is hiring a Production Technician to join our Monument, CO team. You will perform complex assembly, machine set-up, inspection, and packaging of medical devices used by healthcare professionals daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a technical, assembly, or manufacturing role.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and dexterity.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document optical alignment procedures and component-level repairs on medical devices using specialized tools and SOPs.
• Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Package and prepare parts and microscopes for shipment and palletize freight.
• Respond to calls from customers and field reps regarding equipment issues and troubleshooting.
• Stay up to date with regulatory processes and quality requirements affecting production.
• Perform manufacturing operations including setup, adjustment, cleaning, polishing, welding, soldering, and packaging.
• Inspect work using microscopes, hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
• Read and follow procedures, travelers, drawings, and quality instructions.
• Follow production schedule, communicate updates to field, and maintain parts/lead times spreadsheet.
• Conduct assembly builds and inventory consumption for orders.
• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts with accurate recordkeeping.
• Monitor rental/evaluation parts and update tracking accordingly.
• Communicate with other departments about orders and production needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Travel to onsite customer locations for support, training, and installation.
