Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CMA or NCMA preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, interview patients, and document information in the medical record.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Explain procedures and instructions to patients; assist with patient education.
• Perform general office duties and act as a liaison with other departments.
• Collect specimens and assist with phlebotomy as needed; maintain immunization inventory.
