Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant I for the Boston area, onsite at 60 Fenwood Road. The role supports clinical and non-clinical patient services, including vital signs, patient intake, and coordination with physicians and nursing staff.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0–1 year of MA experience, and familiarity with EHR systems. BLS certification and CMA credential are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BLS preferred.
• Experience: 0–1 year in medical field preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to take vital signs and assist with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Record medical history and test results in medical records.
• Perform general office duties and coordinate with other departments.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and prepare for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms, keep them clean, and stock supplies.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated materials.
