Job summary

UCHealth in Cheyenne, WY is looking for a Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care team onsite on a full-time schedule (80 hours per pay period). The role involves direct patient care, vital signs, specimen collection, and clerical duties in a fast-paced clinic.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CMA/RMA certification, and BLS. Experience of 3 years as MA or completion of an accredited MA program is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS through AHA or ARC with card in-hand before start date; renewals ok via AHA.
• 3 years MA experience OR graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse or provider.
• Gathers vital signs, specimen collection, and monitors patient condition.
• Keeps care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly; maintains equipment and supplies.
• Performs administrative duties such as scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
