Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of related experience or combination with education substitution acceptable.
• Valid Driver’s License required; Defensive Driving certification may be obtained later.

Responsibilities

• Review and process suspended Medicaid claims.
• Update claim notes for tracking and audit requirements.
• Identify system issues and submit memos for fixes.
• Review and analyze reports to identify patterns affecting suspended claims and locations.
• Conduct research and provide analysis on complex Medicaid issues.
• Clarify, develop, and implement Medicaid policies within the Fee for Service Unit.
• Update internal guides and workflows with policy revisions.
• Support meetings and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
• Address complex Medicaid issues by collaborating with other bureaus, divisions, and agencies.
