Job summary

Bodwé Professional Services Group seeks a Mechanical Engineering Technician for on-site work at Dyess Air Force Base near Abilene, TX. The role involves developing, planning, programming, and executing Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization projects, plus related QA/QC and admin tasks on a contract basis.

Required 8+ years in mechanical engineering equipment support, HVAC/building code knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience related to mechanical engineering equipment support for maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance plans/program.
• Extensive knowledge of Building Code requirements related to HVAC equipment and mechanical engineering, equipment troubleshooting, diagnostics and evaluation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle on Dyess AFB.

• Plan, organize, and lead studies, designs, and construction projects.
• Record and manage processes and documentation.
• Negotiate with management to implement resource-intensive proposals.
• Communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
