Job summary

The Marvin Group, a leading defense contractor based in Southern California near LAX, invites students in mechanical or related engineering to join its MEC/MTS/MLS internship. You'll work in the mechanical, manufacturing and tooling engineering department, mentored to contribute to innovations, and gain exposure to the design cycle from concept to manufacturing and test.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, senior or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fundamentals of manufacturing, structures, mechanisms, materials, and analysis.
• Proficient in CAD modeling, drafting and release.
• Mechanical design, drafting and modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Training and application of MEC tools including CATIA V5, SolidWorks and PDM.
• Design and documentation support using engineering tools and MS Office.
• Engineering change processes and drawing release.
• Collaborate with coworkers across functional teams.
• Training on MEC processes and procedures.
