co.bot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Product Design to develop electromechanical systems for Proxie. You will own mechanical design from concept through test across commercial and specialized robotics, delivering robust, manufacturable hardware.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical product design experience.
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience designing complex electromechanical systems, assemblies, enclosures, or mechanical packaging.
• Strong fundamentals in materials, tolerances, GD&T, and thermal/structural design.
• Experience taking hardware through prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and design iteration.
• Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop system-critical mechanical hardware including structures, enclosures, packaging, thermal management, and environmental protection.
• Collaborate with hardware, safety, test, manufacturing, and supplier teams to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Own designs from analysis and CAD through prototype build, validation, root cause, and iteration.
