Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Assembler 2 in Jamestown, ND to contribute to the assembly and quality of mechanical products onsite. You will read blueprints, use hand and air tools, and perform quality checks to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential as you work with engineering and production teams on site.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED or vocational training.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Experience using hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and drawings to assemble components.
• Operate hand and air tools safely to complete tasks.
• Maintain inventory at workstations and ensure material availability.
• Perform quality checks and document defects.
• Rework or repair as needed per engineering changes.
• Keep work area clean and safe following procedures.
• Meet production deadlines and customer demands.
• Stand for up to 9 hours daily.
