Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation seeks a Material Supply Chain Coordinator to secure raw materials, equipment, and services for the St. Louis facility, supporting multiple business units.

The role blends tactical and strategic planning to maximize service at minimum cost while preserving Sensient brands’ quality. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with demand, production planning, logistics, and finance, plus close work with Quality Control and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Three years minimum experience in Procurement.
• JD Edwards (JDE) experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of purchasing, traffic, and inventory control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Secure and plan raw materials, equipment, supplies, and services to meet service level objectives.
• Collaborate with demand, production planning, logistics, and finance for alignment of material planning with business objectives.
• Maintain supplier approval status with internal Quality Control and regulatory groups and provide information for requests.
• Validate pricing of invoices and coordinate with AP to resolve vendor issues.
• Coordinate with planning inventory targets for all raw materials and meet Cash Conversion Cycle objectives; support KPI goals.
• Coordinate with planning for return of obsolete/surplus materials and address billing errors.
