Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a data analyst to support global logistics and supply chain initiatives in St. Louis, MO. The role involves consolidating data, developing standardized reporting, and tracking KPIs to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Proficiency with SQL, Access, Excel; Power BI and Cognos preferred.
• Knowledge of statistics and using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Access, Tableau).
• Adept with queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• Familiarity with forecasting tools like Logility or similar.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate data into a centralized location and develop standardized reporting & metrics for global logistics KPIs.
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning, carrier performance).
• Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to drive carrier performance and end-to-end shipment planning impact.
• Collect data on operations, research root causes, and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
• Use data to identify opportunities to optimize supply chain and reduce costs.
• Assemble forecasts using market data, sales history, customer trends to improve forecast accuracy.
