Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Ivyland, PA is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of materials across the plant. You will collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure materials are available for production schedules and to maintain accurate inventory records.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• 1–2 years’ experience in Material Handling or manufacturing environment, preferred
• Ability to operate fork trucks, preferred
• Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability
• General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, stage, and distribute materials to support production schedules.
• Maintain inventory locations and transactions in JD Edwards.
• Perform cycle counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect materials for quantity and quality; prepare for shipment.
• Complete production logs and inventory documentation.
• Support quality and MRB processes per ISO requirements.
• Follow safety and 5S requirements in a clean work environment.
