Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Material Handler at our Bentleyville site in Charleroi, PA. The role ensures materials are available where needed, keeps workstations stocked, and supports production efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing or distribution. The position requires lifting up to 40 pounds and operation of material handling equipment. No travel expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, ships, loads, and unloads materials/parts from suppliers or carriers.
• Inspects incoming pieces/parts for compliance and damage; updates inventory as needed.
• Uses barcode scanner/computer to identify stock locations and move stock accordingly.
• Counts, weighs, and records materials received, moved, or shipped; reports inconsistencies.
• Operates forklift, hand truck, and related material handling equipment.
• Follows work orders from planners and picks parts for jobs and kits.
• Adheres to ISO procedures and safety rules and keeps shelves clean.
