Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a Manufacturing Environmental Engineer for a 12-month onsite assignment in Georgetown, KY. You will support environmental standards, perform impact assessments for proposed changes, and help develop permit strategies for manufacturing and LDS sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, with preferred automotive experience and knowledge of California regulations. The position is paid at $56.02/hr for a temporary assignment on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field (Environmental, Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
• Added bonus if you have Automotive industry experience (Preferred).
• Experience or familiarity with California regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Environmental standard and policy implementation
• Perform proposed operational change Environmental impact assessments including direction feedback to requestor
• Develop and propose permit strategy to support proposed projects and operational changes
• Complete permit applications on behalf of manufacturing sites and/or LDS sites
• Support environmental functions related to EEMS requirements and confirm understanding by local environmental support
