Abbott is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Vascular division in St. Paul, MN. This onsite role focuses on sustaining engineering for FFR and OCT hardware, PCB layout, fixtures, and tooling.

You will apply engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes across cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes process validation, vendor interfacing, and regulatory compliance as part of continuous improvement in a high‑volume medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in layout, construction, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Support sustaining activities around catheter manufacturing including end of life and change requests.
• Production support and process validation.
• Interface with vendors for components.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Apply SPC tools to improve processes and quality.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
