Job summary

Onward Search is partnering with a food and beverage manufacturer to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for their Lancaster, PA site. The role focuses on process improvement, equipment optimization, and troubleshooting to support plant operations onsite.

Responsibilities include implementing safer, higher-quality procedures, driving workflow efficiencies, leading equipment upgrade projects, resolving complex issues, and maintaining documentation such as SOPs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience with production equipment.
• Knowledge of automated systems including PLCs, servo controls, and VFDs.
• Hands-on CAD experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Strong data analysis, process optimization, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement procedures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manufacturing workflows.
• Lead projects on equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot machinery and process issues using problem-solving techniques.
• Develop and maintain documentation including operating procedures, safety protocols, and equipment manuals.
